Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor Aunjanue E. Taylor, an American actor-producer and stage actress is well-known for her role in the feature film Ray Undercover Brother as well as on The Mentalist. She received the B.A. from African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting at Tisch School of acting at New York University. Aunjanue was born in the United States and is an American actress also known as producer and director. She has worked in both film and television. Her career began in theater and later appeared in numerous television series and independent and mainstream films. Her most famous role was Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico in addition to appearing on BET's epic drama The Book of Negroes. For both of these roles she received critical acclaim and various awards and nominations, among them an award from the Television Critics Choice Award for the best Actress. She began her career as an actor in the year 1995 when she played Ariel in The Tempest. Apart from Broadway's Come and Gone, she is also credited in Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. With regards to her career in movies the most recognizable roles she has played include Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. Her most well-known role is her part in ABC's crime-drama High Incident.
